You must have noticed that same engine cc motorcycles have different top speed and acceleration. Some bikes top speed is very high while other have low top speed and acceleration. Motorcycle top speed and acceleration depends on certain technical things like cylinder bore, stroke length, maximum power, maximum torque, gear ratio, engine rpm, engine type (square engine, over square engine, under square engine) etc.
