CCIF: what lessons to retain?

The organization was founded in 2005 and after 16 years of existence, was shut down by the government within a matter of 3 weeks. The CCIF even self dissolved and fled to Belgium to setup shop out of Brussels. No rallies, no petitions, no lobbying and no mobilisation whatsoever was organized by the CCIF despite years of donations and hundreds of thousands of euros collected. What does it say about your politics when you flee the battlefield without even consulting with your members and donors?
