It is impossible to justify the “cruelty” we are showing to fellow Australians wanting to return from overseas, according to Sky News host Chris Kenny.
“It is time NSW stopped doing hotel quarantine for the other states, let them impose their own cruelty on their own people,” he said.
“It is time the federal government changed the rules, and lifted the severe limits on the numbers of people coming back home.
“Just make sure travellers are vaccinated, and keep them holed up till they test negative, then let them go wherever they like, treat people with respect and common sense.
“We can't be a hermit kingdom any longer.”
