Microsoft knows gamertag reset makes them millions of dollars. For them to just reset gamertags just because of an non active account and not even announce it to promote and escalate the hype so more people can pay for a name change isn’t in there business model and they would be losing millions of dollars. As a company that wouldn’t make sense to release something people want badly and not make them pay. The people of influence within this community lied to y’all for a quick buck. No one TRULY knows when or if these tags will ever be reset unless Microsoft comes out and says it themselves. Also, I just noticed that they said accounts will be closed, it doesn’t say anywhere in these articles people are sending me that the tag would be reset, it sounds like people are just assuming at this point. Hopefully things in this com gets better over time because this right here is some straight BS.
