Title: Assurance of Victory!
Scripture: Joshua 1:3-5
3 “I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses.
4 Your territory will extend from the desert to Lebanon, and from the great river, the Euphrates—all the Hittite country—to the Mediterranean Sea in the west.
5 No one will be able to stand against you all the days of your life. As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.”
Intro: Complete answer
(1) Assurance of salvation
(2) Assurance of answers to prayer
(3) Assurance of forgiveness of sin
(4) Assurance of guidance
(5) Assurance of victory
1. Impossible victory
(1) Over Satan – The true king
(2) Over Sin – The true priest
(3) Over Hell – The true prophet
2. Victory given by God
(1) Victory along the Covenant journey (v.3)
“I will give you every place where you set your foot, as I promised Moses”
(2) We will come out victorious (2Cor.4:8-9)
“We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; 9 persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed”
(3) Christ has already claimed victory (Jn.16:33)

3. Live a victorious life

(1) True boldness

(3) No fear
