CA EDD Pending, Important Changes to FED-ED Extension, MEUC Applications

CA EDD Update on the recent developments in regards to the changes to the Fed-ED program effective August 8, 2021 and how it impacts Regular UI and PEUC claimants as well. Discuss further why the program is ending on September 4th even though California still has a higher Unemployment rate. Unlike in 2009 when the Fed-Ed program was kept active by the TUR, Total Unemployment Rate this time it is being kept active based on the IUR the Insured Unemployment Rate which does not count PUA claims which drops the total unemployment rate. Also a follow up on those waiting on MEUC applications as the deadline of September 6, 2021 approaches, and a follow up on the continued problem of Pending Payments being Paid.
