SUSTAINABILITY ILLUSTRATED | How to communicate the concept of sustainability in a simple way

How to communicate the concept of sustainability in a simple way? | This is only important if you are interested in sustainability. SUSTAINABILITY ILLUSTRATED

Podcast Episode #11 of Sustainability@Work. A traces&dreams podcast hosted by Samara Croci.

Today’s guest at Sustainability@Work is Alexandre Magnin, a sustainability consultant and video illustrator who has a youtube channel video and collaborates with companies.

With him, we will talk about why he decided to start his educational video channel and what 30 videos about the most important and challenging topics of sustainability have taught him about how to share and approach these kinds of stories.

I’m always intrigued by the challenge of explaining sustainability problems and making them accessible without simplifying them too much. So we talked about this and about practical storytelling strategies that can be used to keep the engagement high, make things more memorable, and win the youtube algorithm.

Here is some information about our guest:

Alexandre Magnin is a sustainability consultant, illustrator, and Youtuber. He creates animation videos and illustrations to help people learn about and teach sustainability engagingly and effectively.

He has been working as a sustainability advisor for almost 10 years (with the international non-profit The Natural Step). In his first experience as an advisor, he saw firsthand the power of a smart approach to sustainability to change people’s lives, businesses, and communities for the better. As an artist and illustrator, he has also witnessed the power of drawing and communication to help people understand and learn more effectively. So, he decided to combine his skills to share what he has learned about sustainability over years of helping businesses and communities be more successful and resilient. He created Sustainability Illustrated so everybody can learn about sustainability for free.
