He further added that the Bhartiya Janta Party’s treatment of the senior leader pained him given Yediyurappa’s respectable stature and that now the BJP will face the wrath of Lingayats. On the other hand, the Lingayat seers meet and back BS Yediyurappa in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This meet took place over the speculations of Yediyurappa’s stepping down as Karnataka Chief Minister. The big question is whether this is the last ditch effort by Yediyurappa to get back at BJP.
