Chris Barnett’s Mouth in UFC 279

Chris Barnett had a tremendous upset victory in UFC 279 tonight. But as the commentators notice, what was wrong with Chris Barnett now? It almost looked like he had a stroke. The doctor intensely check out his badly injured guy between the first and second round, but made no effort to figure out what was wrong with his mouth. His mouth almost looks like it was drooping on his left side, the same side where Chris Barnett took serious damage to his left eye. Is it possible for a person to suffer a stroke during a fight and continue on to even win?

Could this be nerve damage causing these word mouth movements?
