2023 TOYOTA LAND CRUISER NEW PRADO - MORE INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR UPDATE RUMOR.
Japanese outlet BestCarWeb reports the state of the art Toyota LandCruiser Prado, set to show up in August 2022, will pack a super diesel six.
That engine is the 3.3-liter super diesel V6 of the LandCruiser 300 Series. BestCarWeb reports the new model will hold comparable major angles, much as the overhauled LandCruiser 300 Series did, with a flat out length of 4850mm and a full scale width of 1890mm.
Like its greater kinfolk, it'll move to the new TNGA-F body-on-layout designing.
Toyota last offered a six-chamber Prado in Australia in 2017, but that was an ordinarily suctioned 4.0-liter petrol V6 with 207kW and 381Nm.
Should this 3.3-liter Prado eventuate, it'll be a colossal jump in yields over the 2.8-liter super diesel four in the current Prado which puts out 150kW and 500Nm.
It'll similarly have some challenge resembling the redesigned Ford Everest, set to show up one year from now, which will probably get the 3.0-liter super diesel V6 of the associated, updated Ranger.
While yields haven't been confirmed for the Ranger, in the F-150 this engine made 190kW and 597Nm.
Accepting the LandCruiser's engine isn't detuned for this application in the Prado, then, the Toyota can outgun the Ford.
That could similarly keep the strong Prado delved in at the most elevated place of the business charts. It's been the top of the line model in VFACTS' Large SUV area starting around 2014, when the Jeep Grand Cherokee immediately anticipated the elevated position.
