The Independent Electoral Commission will announce the final results of the 2021 local government elections on Thursday evening.
The electoral process had its own challenges with at least over 80 objections lodged with the IEC by the end of business Wednesday.
But the electoral body says all the objections will be dealt with after the announcement of the results.
By last night the Electoral Commission said it had captured 99.3 % of results which are in the system and will be scanned and audited.
