Officials sound alarm over rise in cases in some regions in India

India has seen a sharp drop in its daily COVID-19 tally. Fewer than 15,000 people have tested positive in the last 24 hours. Daily numbers have stayed below 30,000 for more than a month and nearly all restrictions have been lifted. However, some regions are seeing an uptick in cases, prompting officials to sound the alarm.
