I SNAPPED A BELT! 😲 ...and fitted a Bash Guard 😏👌

I haven't been riding the hardtail recently - because I snapped the belt! I'm 99% sure it was due to impacts from rocks/debris and perhaps even getting crushed against the sprocket - it failed at the end of a ride after belting it down a full mountain with lots of loose stones flying about. In FIVE years of riding the Geometron I've never snapped a belt on it, but it's completely protected by the Nicolai GPI bash guard and tensioner - the Argon hardtail doesn't have one!

But now it does 😏👌 Gates (belt manufacturer) supplied with a couple of new belts (and some cogs for the geometron too, video coming soon) and I also received a BASH GUARD prototype from Universal Transmissions in Germany - Gates' European partner in collaboration with the dudes at Ronny Racing. Huge thanks to these guys for looking after me! 🙌
