I finally tried pastel pencils! - Using Caran d'Ache Pastels as a beginner

I’m finally trying pastel pencils for the first time!

Shane bought me this amazing set of Caran d’Ache pastel pencils and I’ve been waiting to try them. I usually use colored pencils, but I’ve only ever used soft pastels 1-2 times in the past – and pastel PENCILS – that’s totally new to me.

So today, I’m going all-in on a big project, on camera, ready to fail… but hopefully learn and produce something wonderful in the process.
