
Houston police have released video of two men they're calling suspects in the beating and robbery of a man who believes he was followed after leaving a bank.
The alleged robbery happened at around 10 a.m. on July 23 at an apartment complex in the 6500 block of Canal. The victim told police he had just gotten home when he was approached by two men he says put a gun to his head and demanded money.
The victim says he told the suspects that he didn’t have any money and that’s when they reportedly hit him several times in the head with a gun. Police say they also took his wallet and cell phone.
Video captured the suspects after they ran off.
The victim was taken to the hospital and had to have staples to the head for his injuries. He told police he believes he was followed after leaving a bank on Woodridge Drive at the South Loop East.
