Welcome once again to the headquarters fellow Red Devils and football fans across the world. Straight from Old Trafford, Manchester United has released a statement confirming that upcoming pre-season fixture against Preston North End on July 31st has been called off. The match has been cancelled because a number of the players at the camp of Man United have tested positive so they remain in isolation. The official report states that they are ensuring they go by the rules. For those fans in Manchester who purchased tickets for the game, their monies would be refunded to them automatically so no worries at all.
This was put out by the communications department of Manchester. This means we will be left just a single match before the big season starts. A third and our last pre-season friendly against Everton at Old Trafford on August 7th before we welcome Leeds United a week later, thats on the 14th August at Old Trafford for our league opener. Hopefully by that time, all our senior players and new signings have returned to the team to kickstart the 2021/2022 premier league campaign. Thanks for your time and thanks for watching !
