All visitors to malls, large retail outlets required to log contact information

오늘부터 백화점-대형마트 출입문에도 QR코드·안심콜 의무화

Starting Friday, anyone visiting department stores or major retailers in the nation will be required to log contact info at the entrance.
The government decided to strengthen contact tracing efforts... following large cluster infections at several malls.
Until now, restaurants and cafes within shopping malls kept QR code or phone number-based entry logs separately.
The new scheme applies to all regions with social distancing level 3 or above.
That includes the Seoul metropolitan area...currently at Level 4... as well as most regions across the nation.
