Dopo un lungo periodo di tempo, finalmente torniamo alla fienagione che è una fase che ancora non si è conclusa perché in giro c'è gente che sta facendo il secondo taglio, come andremo a fare proprio in questo video, andando ad effettuare il secondo taglio di erba medica, che avverrà per opera di questo mitico motofalce BCS.
Quindi questa volta facciamo un salto all'indietro, un bel salto nel passato di circa 40 anni, quando nella fine degli anni 70 nacque questa motofalciatrice molto utile per tagliare l'erba in modo meccanizzato, e 40 anni dopo questa motofalciatrice rimane nella storia dell'agricoltura italiana, perché da 40 anni a questa parte, è stato un veicolo che ha sfamato l'Italia e tantissime aziende agricole italiane.
Ma questa motofalciatrice non serviva solo per lo sfalcio dell'erba, ma veniva personalizzata anche per il taglio del grano, dove gli veniva agganciato uno speciale Aspo anteriore che veniva montato sopra la lama, diventando quindi così identico ad una testata per mietitrebbia.
Un veicolo "tuttofare" se così lo si può chiamare che ti permetteva di svolgere parecchie lavorazioni tra l'altro anche in modo maneggevole, comodo e veloce.
Ma adesso chiusa questa parentesi sulla storia, possiamo passare alla descrizione tecnica del motofalce che monta un motore monocilindrico Diesel ACME dalla cilindrata di 459 cm3, con una potenza massima di 14 cv, con 4 marce totali di cui 3 in avanti ed una indietro e con una larghezza totale della barra di taglio di 1,40 metri.
Questo BCS lo vedremo impegnato nella falciatura di un piccolo appezzamento di quasi mezzo ettaro, per falciare un fieno che sarà poi destinato all'alimentazione bovina di circa 35 capi di Razza pezzate rosse.

But this motor mower was not only used for mowing grass, but was also customized for cutting wheat, where a special front reel was attached to it and mounted above the blade, thus becoming identical to a combine harvester header.
An "all-rounder" vehicle if you can call it that which allowed you to carry out many processes, among other things, in a manageable, comfortable and fast way.
But now this parenthesis on the story closed, let's move on to the technical description of the motor-scythe that is fitted with a single-cylinder ACME Diesel engine with a displacement of 459 cm3, with a maximum power of 14 hp, with 4 total gears, 3 forward and one reverse a total width of the cutter bar of 1.40 meters.
We will see this BCS engaged in the mowing of a small plot of almost half a hectare, to mow a hay which will then be used for the cattle feed of about 35 head of the red spotted breed.
